CONPDS AUTOGATE

One Subscription — All Electronics, Software, and Commissioning Included

The ConPDS Autogate subscription bundles all ConPDS-supplied hardware, software, installation services, and ongoing support into a single annual fee — scaling with the number of gates in operation.

Subscription-based · No traditional onboarding costs · Scales per gate

What the Subscription Includes

The subscription eliminates traditional onboarding costs by bundling installation, commissioning, and core electronics into a predictable annual fee. Additional gates can be added at any time by updating the subscription — no architectural changes required.

Project Management

Deployment planning, camera geometry specs, and documentation

When an emergency spare is used, ConPDS ships a replacement to replenish the kit. Configuration support ensures direct integration of the new device with OCR services, VMS, and backend systems.

Customer-Supplied Infrastructure Components

These components form the local site infrastructure and are procured, installed, and maintained by the customer or their appointed contractors. ConPDS provides technical specifications for compatibility.

STRUCTURAL

Gate Structures & Mounting Poles

Steel poles, mounting arms, and cross-beams meeting required camera geometry and load specifications. Hot-dip galvanised or industrial-grade corrosion-resistant coatings.

BARRIERS

Motorised Barriers

Any motorised barrier compatible with relay-based control. Optical safety sensors and inductive ground loops required for safe vehicle detection.

KIOSK

Kiosk Totem Cabinets

Outdoor kiosk housing with industrial touchscreen, QR scanner, and intercom. Must meet environmental protection requirements for outdoor deployment.

NETWORK

Network Infrastructure

Fibre runs, backbone switches, routers, firewalls, and internet link. Power and data cabling with conduits between devices and cabinets.

COMPUTE

Central GPU Server

Customer-supplied hardware or virtualised machine running OCR, analytics, and DepotMaster integration. Specifications provided by ConPDS.

OPERATIONS

Kiosk Monitoring PC + Displays

Operator workstation with two large displays for live gate supervision, exception handling, and manual overrides. ConPDS supplies the software.

Customers use their preferred local contractors for all infrastructure work. Structural engineering, wind-load certification, and local compliance verification must be completed by qualified engineers appointed by the customer. Civil works include concrete bases, trenching, foundations, cable ducts, and electrical outlets.

Power Continuity & UPS Guidance per Gate

Estimated Load per Gate

LPR Camera — 26 W
5 × OCR Cameras — 65 W
Barrier Controller — 5 W
Kiosk Computing Device — 20 W
Touchscreen — 50 W
Intercom + Scanner — 10 W
Motorised Barrier — 150 W
Subtotal: 326 W · With 20% safety margin: ≈ 400 W total load per gate

UPS Sizing Guidance

Target backup: 10 minutes per gate
Energy required: ≈ 84 Wh (incl. UPS losses)
Recommended capacity: ≥ 0.8–1 kVA per gate
For future margin: 1.5 kVA class UPS
Each gate uses a dedicated UPS unit
A UPS for the Central GPU Server is strongly recommended — all OCR processing depends on it remaining powered.
UPS is optional but recommended. For effective continuity during power loss, backup coverage should include not only gate hardware but also backbone switches, routers, firewalls, the Central GPU Server, and the Kiosk Monitoring PC. Without backup for all systems in the processing chain, gate-level UPS alone will not maintain operational capability.

Subscription Scalability

Add gates at any time — extend the subscription
No architectural changes when scaling
GPU server dimensioned for total camera count
Software improvements deployed across all sites
Minimum three-year commitment
The subscription fee scales linearly with the number of gate-in and gate-out lanes. A system with two gates typically supports up to twelve cameras. Customers planning future expansion should size the GPU server accordingly or prepare to upgrade when adding gates.
