Step 02 — Recognise

Automatic Container Number Recognition

Checker OCR reads the container number on the device — including offline — and verifies the ISO 6346 check digit (owner code, serial number, and check digit) before linking the photo to the container record. Wrong recognition is flagged to the technician; if a number is not recognized, they can retake the photo or type the container number manually. This keeps documentation error at the point of capture instead of surfacing weeks later during a claim review.

If your system is not yet supported, we will add the integration on request. Can we use our existing devices?
Yes. The ConPDS Checker app runs on standard iOS and Android smartphones and tablets already in use by field teams. No additional hardware, scanners, or specialist devices are required.
